Southern Illinois, the 51st state in the union. Wouldn't want to get us confused w/ that state called Chicago.

im like 140 miles south of chi-town...can i be considered a southerner? Freakin hate chicago...democratic sob's and terrible traffic...seriously in my town we have 1 stop light...during rush hour there you have to stop 3 times or more to get TO the stop light, its such bs.

I'm from Beardstown, about 50 miles west of Springfield. My mom lives in Eldorado Illinois which is about 25 miles from KY. I'm thourhg Mt Vernon alot. Blew through there yesterday actually.
