Where does this go? I was washing my engine and knocked this piece off around the hinge for the hood. Doesnt seem to fit anywhere around there though and there isnt one on the other side to match it up with. Any pics would be helpful from anyone with a 4th gen camaro (1996).

EDIT...Misread it, I'll go look at my 95... I couldn't see anything that really looked like that.

 

Quick question, how big is it? In the picture it looks big, but depending on size I might now what it is.

 

My piece is about 4 inches. I think I already know where it goes but I lost a piece somewhere that connects to it. I have to special order it.

 

I think it is a cover for the driver side hinge on the hood. Is that what you thought?

 

It's kind of hard to explain exactly where I found out it goes. Its near the hinge but it is not quite the cover. The piece I ordered that goes with it just came in today so I get to put it back on now. Thanks for everyones help.
