Hey I live in Champaign IL and really want to get my car to the track before I store it for the winter. Does anyone know of decent 1/4 mile strips around this area? I know of one in Joliet but would prefer not to go back to that area...to say the least. I have google'd it but can't seem to find what I am looking for. I thought there was one near/by Bloomington Normal..? Thanks for any responses!

 

US41 in Morroco In might be your best bet, i use to live in Chamapigh

 

Or the GIR in Madison,IL...Its not too close, but its another one in IL

 

byron drag strip...idk how far away..but yeah thats in illinois

 

Byron is like 3.5 away from champaign...

 

Now thats a cruise. Not crazy about that track, but must admit, Iv'e run some of my best times there.
