Is it worth modding my v6?

I have a 95 Z28 and it's gotten all the attention so far. Should i mod the 00 v6? How much horsepower would i look at if i did intake, headers, and catback?

Nothing really impressive... Assuming its a stock Automatic?

CAI - couple
Headers - 20? I don't really know
Catback - couple

I'd say around 25 at rearwheels, But I'm not sure on the headers, I haven't done enough research on them because it's out of my budget right now. Go Pacesetters though.

there is no reason to mod your v6 if you have your v8....

you can spend the money on that and gain some more mph or less et....

keep the v6 stock

headers CAI and exhaust, ur looking at 20 max, total....

is it worth it?? i dunno, i did headers and intake, just because (and it wasnt too much to do, either)... anything else, i'd say no... just use it as a daily driver (which is what mine is)

although, the 3" exhaust w/hi flow cat and intake helped my car be a high 14 sec car (LSD helps too), as opposed to a mid-high 15 sec car

I say mod the 6.
I have a z28 but all most all of money I spend and mods I do are for the V6 with T-5. I have the V6 for the handeling the weight is a lot closer to 50/50 on the V6 (maybe 60/40).
The z has about 200lb more in the frount with the SBC and the auto trans.

Re: Is it worth modding my v6?

I did a few improvements to mine.

Exhaust, intake, and shocks (when it was time to change) and a bunch of other little things.

My intentions werent to really mod it, but improve it and I'm happy with the results
