The page says that "no image currently available", but there have been no aftermarket shifters available for 4th Gen auto's ever since the car was introduced.

Maybe somebody has now finally come up with one, then...

Its a chrome T shifter with the button on the side. Its by B&M. RK Sport does have a shifter for an automatic but I dont like the way it looks, it also has the button. I also saw one that Hurst makes. Its brushed aluminum with a small red button on the side. I think the B&M looks better though. I think Im gonna order the B&M in a week or so. I asked the loser at advanced auto if he had one in stock and he said they dont carry one. Little did he know its on the website and Ive seen them in the store before.

I still don't think you can get an aftermarket shifter for 4L60E, but let us know if you find one.

well im starting to get some little chrome pieces here and there. Ive already got the chrome cigarette lighter and I think it looks really good with the black interior. Im just concerned whether or not it will fit on the stick. I cant stand that button either. You might could rig up something that hold that button down. If you take the shifter off all there is is a white thing thats pressed down. But then again, if you accidentaly hit the shifter you can easily knock it down into 1 or up into reverse since the button is already down. Maybe Im wrong but oh well.

I have the adapter that lets you put whatever manual shift **** you want on it. I think you should get this, its a lot easier to shop for manual ***** than automatic ones. To shift all you have to do is push down and shift. I don't have any links with me but I'm sure someone else might that reads this.

Edit: Here's the place where I bought mine. http://www.usawebcraft.net/secure/co...id=225297_5880
There's also a guy on here I believe that makes one, just search for it.
