What are the best bolt ons and Results
Alright guys what are best bolt ons you have on your Camaro's? What are the ended results? I planning to add little by little Hp to my car without a supercharger or turbocharger this summer. No I'm not planning to save up for a LS1 and any of the chargers(just to get that out the way), because I'm saving up for the 5th gen Camaro. Just looking to beat on a few 03 GT's and other v8's for fun.
Re: What are the best bolt ons and Results
What are some good intakes to put in the car? From what I'm heard intake don't gain much horsepower. I just don't want to spend $300 for something that is not worth it. In general does the v6 respond to mods?

Re: What are the best bolt ons and Results
a v8 will respond better to mods than a v6
if you have the 3.8L v6 it doesnt really need a new intake system unless you have done major mods like: cam, turbo, supercharger, rockers, heads...
the intake you have is sufficient
Abbott sells modified intakes, but again, I wouldnt put it on a stock v6.
You can P&P your whole intake system, but its not really worth it, plus you could damage your system.

what about a programmer?
dont get a programmer! get a quality tune from somewhere like pcmforless.com or texas speed & performance
the cost is about the same anyways
programmers dont really do much
if you change your intake system, more than likely you will have to recalibrate
your MAF (the thing that senses how much air is being sucked into the engine).
