Angry Vibrating worse each day!

For the past 6 months my 95V6 has been vibrating at high speeds. Around 110-130(kph) it starts, but once it starts it won't stop until about 90 or so. The shifter shakes and you can definatly feel it through the seat. Sometimes the steering wheel shakes too! It happens at all rpm. I checked tranny mounts, engine mounts, drive shaft (but can't balance due to CV joint), and had my tires balanced. But it is still vibrating. Any body have this same situation? Could it be: shocks? bent rim? wheel bearings? torque arm? SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE!!!

at high speeds like that cars tend to do that. my 93 did that and i tried everything. the only thing that helped it out were higher rated tires i put. smoothed it out a little.

I don't know, but this problem is so bad that I'm at the point where I want to sell my car... Please someone help me! I love my car...but its driving me insane

Pretty hard to say w/o feelin it myself,But you say you checked driveshaft. A vibration like that could come from worn u-joints,CV joint. Some torerances are hard to determine, but there shouldnt be any big movement in the CVs,u-joints.
That bent rim thing could be also,Rims do break, get outa true.but the tire guy would've prob. told if that was it.

Any buldges on the tires, seperation could vibrate also,If your doin 125 like nothineined said you should run Z-rated just to be safe

Can you have the driveshaft balanced? Iheard it can't bee done because of the CV joint? How would I find out if worn u-joints is the problem?

guys...he said 110-130 KILOMETERS per hour... 100 is roughly 55/60MPH. These are highway speed vibrations.

Like the rest said...inspect your tires for any misshapen areas, and make sure the alignment and wheel balance are all done right.

The last thing could be your struts/shocks. I've seen cars going down the freeway at 60-70mph and one of the wheels is bouncing like because the susupension is worn and can no longer dampen the normal road oscillation and vibration.

Transmission mounts...engine mounts, and driveshaft.. Make sure those are all working well.

That is true...I didn't know you had an aftermarket exhaust. Road and engine vibrations can cause quite strange noises if an exhaust pipe is too close to a frame rail or the underbody...Good thing to check out!

Well bad news all around! I took my car to a muffler shop today, the guy said that exhaust shouldn't cause a problem that severe....
So I have to take the car back on thursday so they can do a real good inspection. Every shop always says its the tires...but I've had the tires balanced 4 times now...... I HATE MY CAR!

Anybody want a 95 - 3.4 with 166,000 km? I'll sell it for cheap since it shakes like an old lady!!!
