Valve Cover Gasket Installation?

The over size TB is over kill for a stock engine.
I would start on the exhaust and work my way forward.
That linked CAI is a cool part.
I made some thing like that for my diesel truck and it helped a lot. I had installed an air filter monitor on my truck, all it does is read the intake and air filter restriction.
The air intake on my truck was so bad it all most read "change filter" (0.5psi restriction) with a brand new filter. So I built a hugely over kill ram air system, problem solved.

is your oil hitting your exhaust pipe (i think it is called the y-pipe right after the manifolds)and burning?mine is doing that and i am also wondering where it is coming from.

Yes, that is the y-pipe. Have you checked for obvious leaks, starting with the intake manifold?

yes i stuck my hand down the back side of the motor as far as i could and didn't feel any oil leaking.not exactly sure if i am looking in the right spot though.the oil seem to run down the oil pan as well.
what do you think it is?

Possible a rear main seal or the oil pan gasket itself.
