V6 or V8?

ok iv got a 1994 3.4L V6 camaro and for a summer project im going to do an engine swap i dont have infinate funds and if i did i would swap in the LT1 i dont mind the work but i was wondering which is better for my money to swap in a rebuilt V6 with some preformance parts or an LT1 and it looks like not only the LT1 but im gonna have to buy about everything to get the LT1 in there im looking at spending about 3000 dollars max and doing all the work myself

oh unrelated but can someone tell me what the recomended tire PSI is? my sticker is faded and i cant read it

If you are going to to do an engine swap for fun, considering the work involved, I wouldn't do anything but a V8 swap. I don't know the tire spec off hand, but check out Shoebox's website, here is the link to all of the owners manuals, click on your year car and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for.

Having been stupid enough once to upgrade to a larger v6 in a vehicle (chevy s10 2.8 to 4.3) for the money, the work just drop the LT1 in

Go buy a z28.

I'm at the end of my 95 3.4l to 94 LT1 swap. If you don't have a donor car its gonna be a major PITA.

you can find a good Z for 3000, may need a little work, but a whole lot less then the swap. If you sell your 6 you will have extra funds to put toward the 8...

The sticker on my door says 30psi. Though mine still wore as if they were over inflated.

When I switched to 245/50/16's (from the OE 235/55/16's) they seemed to wear evenly at 30psi.
