Basic mods for a Z28 work the same for the V6.

Intake, exhaust, gears, etc.

A lot of websites that sell z28 stuff also have a V6 section.
Thunderracing.com Tybrne.com, our sponsors, etc.

Sup Jake. this is black6banger (Josh)
Mods for the v6 are gonna be the same as a v8...intake, exhaust, gears. I wouldnt do headers on a 3.8. From what I hear, they dont give all that much extra power, only sound.
As far as exhaust, get 3" catback

Does she have on or two exhaust pipes?

If she does she has the performance option, which is on most RS, but if I am not mistaken is not on all of them. The y87 package, has 3.42s, LSD, dual outlet muffler.

And Just as a tip, check the glove box for her RPO codes. Look for GU6 or GU4 if she has an Automatic.

Gu4 = 3.08s
Gu6 = 3.42s

There is a free mod you cna do to the stock intake to make it flow a little better. there is a right up of it online somewhere I jsut do not know where its pretty common but I have a 3.4L completley different setup then a 3.8l so I am not sure where it is.

from what I have heard a stock z28 Catback sounds pretty decent and gives a little more gain over a v6 exhaust, on 3.8Ls.

3.8Ls cn sound pretty ricey so becareful with thye exhaust, looking for a little bit louder, slighlty better freee flowing I think z28catback woudl be the best for your girlfriend, but it won't be the best for performance. The stock I-pipe is 2.25 in, so the I-pipe is bigger on a Z, and if you check hte local sections alot of people jsut give them away I got mine for free.
