You gotta get posi trac man. Basically just a new rear end differential. I'd say you'd be looking at at least 200? Don't quote me. Sorry if I was no help

1) how did you get 215 hp, cali 3.8?
2) a rear end is a rear end, gears are different things. get a zexel torsion LSD rear end, and 3.73s if you want
3) buying 3.73s wont make both wheels spin

First off, GM records dont show anything about 3.8s being a Cali only option. Secondly the 3.8 in 95' put out 200 hp.

With out a posi rear you get those great one-legger burn outs.

I should clarify before i get hate mail and people get pissed off. The 3.8 in 95' was available in Cali, but not Cali only.

I was saying 3.8 because a 3.4 has 160hp, and didnt think he was that modded. Yes I know a 3.8 has 200 hp, i just figured that he, along with almost the rest of the v6 guys, have some sort of intake/exhaust to account for his extra 15 horsepower. Again, get a Zexel-torsion LSD unit from SLP. I think they are $99.

Its cool, I'm glad to see your on the right team. its just i have had it out with a few people on messages boards who somehow get magical mental horse power. If their gonna take that route why not get a civic and claim 200 hp out of it with some seat belt covers.

slponline.com sells a take off LSD for $99. then if you get someone to install it it will prolly cost you another $150-$200. then both of your wheels will spin. if you get 3.73s both of your wheels are not garunteed to spin every time, but you might get lucky. but i think its a waste to have 3.73s on a non-posi car.

If he gets 3.73's it's more likely that he'll spin up the tires.

by pure definition he will spin the tires if he puts in a limited slip, not so with the addition of 3.73s to a peg leg rear. yes he will more likely spin both, but it is garunteed with a limited slip. besides who in their right mind would want 3.73 on a peg legger?

If it was me, I'd get gears with the limited slip. Why not get more of a performance gain? The installation would cost the same either way. They'd have to set up your stock gears on the new differential, so might as well spend the extra to get better gearing. If you decided to get gears later you'd have to fork out another $200 in labor for installation. Do it now all at the same time
