Turbo 3.4l...

Hey guys, I was thinking after much consideration about a turbo set-up on my 3.4l. I know Tiago was very successful with his, but his is a single turbo set-up. I was thinking a twin turbo set-up. Something like 2 14B turbos off a Turbo DSM. Custom manifolds, intercooler, cam, ported heads/intake, and what not. All the little things that go with a turbo car (MBC, BOV, and other things) Is a TT set-up worthwhile or a single turbo set-up a more effective way to go. Anyways, give me your thoughts and such. Thanks.

A single turbo is more worth wile I think.
I am working on a twin turbo with Audi VW K03 turbos, I have one and now need a second.
I am useing 2 realy small turbos so I can have a few psi at the lowest rpms and more than enough at high rpms.
I have a 3.4 engine with a 2.8 intake.

twin turbos would look great, but cost alot more and I bet a big single would still go faster you just can't "easily" fit two good sized turbos in the engine bay

I was seeing how good of an idea it might be to goto a junkyard for some of the parts. I want to go as cheaply as possible on the expensive parts. Get a turbo, not sure which way I want to go on that. My base is do I want internal wastegate or external. I can find T3's in the junkyard if I want external, or I can find 14B's or t25's if I want internal wastegate. I can find a good sized intercooler in the junkyards as well. Off a Saab or something. That is most of the parts I will retrieve from a junkyard. My friend can make me a flange that will allow to fit a turbo in on the manifolds. I was wondering should I take the time while im doing this to get headers (rksport/pacesetter) and custom one of the headers for the turbo? Or just work with the stock manifolds I have? I will need a boost controller, gauge, timer (or be a manual timer). Is having the 4l60e now a good starting point? I also now have a flowmaster cat-back (its raspy in the higher rpms ) Should I also look for a z28 rearend and driveshaft? Or just a gear upgrade? I have 3.23's I think now. I can get the intercooler piping made cheaply. I can get the cam reground cheap. Heads and intake porting should be easy enough, I want to up the exhaust valves right? I have all the little stuff I think written down somewhere around here. But I may be missing something. Get back to me guys. And Tiago, I would really be interested in talking to you.

Thanks
-Eric
