Re: true duals

My neighbor is running true duals on his 3.8l and it sounds like total a$$. Don't know if it's the exhaust he's using or it just naturally sounds that way.

Re: true duals

There is no need to run a true dual exhaust on a v6. Grab a nice set of headers, and run 3" all the way back - that will be more than enough flow for you.

I always wanted to do it on the 4.3 in my S10, but I never got around to it. I wonder what it would have sounded like? *** maybe?

I'm sure it would have been *** in the good way.

Naw, but I'm not sure man did you have 94-up 4.3 ? I'n that case it might have been alright. I hade a 95 S-10 SS with Edelbrock headers and some other stuff along with a Flowmaster. It sonded pretty damn mean. Almost V8ish. I'm sure with the right set up on a 4.3 duals would have been alright. Of course way back then we didn't know how to set it up like that because of the O2's and cat since it was such a new design. (I got mine way back in 95 and had it only till 96).
