so can someone help me out to why my throttle body wont open when i step on the aCCElerator ,...is this due to me having my OLd tb put back in and not "relearning" it

 

did you hook the cable up?

 

He has a 2000 3.8. His TB is fully electronic.

Are you sure it still works and/ or is hooked up correctly?

 

well it worked when the guy put it back on then i drove it home...so then the next day i tried to start it then jus kept turnin over but not igniting, so then i looked at the tb through the inlet screen and saw that it was not opening, and i was wondering if thats because I didnt let the cars computer ,(relearn) the old tb ....would that make it not work the next day??

 

Wait, it wasnt opening when you were trying to start it? Its not supposed to (well, not much) at start.

Did you turn the key to "run" and have someone feather the pedal? Thats when you should see it move.

 

thats exactly what i meant to say , yeah i did that it didnt open ,thats why im wonderin if its due to me not having it reprogrammed or "flashed"

 

No, that is just normal design/operation.
