Temp gauge not working

Hi, I just picked up a '96 V6 Camaro to drive back and forth to work the other day. Well, today is the first time I drove the car for an extended period of time, and I notice my temp gauge does not work at all. Can someone tell me where the sending unit is on this car, or if this is a common problem?

The car has headers, exhaust, CAI, and MSD wires installed by a previous owner, so I'm thinking it is possible that someone may have just unplugged the temp gauge at one time for an install and forgot about it?

I'm at work now, so I haven't got a chance to look for the sending unit myself yet, but maybe one of you guys can give me a headstart on where to look. Thanks

Chad

Re: Temp gauge not working

You've also got a 160* stat which your computer doesn't like. If you get it scanned you will discover either code 0126 or 0128. The only way to fix this will be to get your computer tuned to remove those codes. This would be much easier if you had a 97+ 'cause you would be able to use HPTuners.
