supercharged 6 cylinder!!!
supercharged 6 cylinder!!!
ok, i have the opportunity to get a supercharger for my 97 3.8L 6 cyl camaro for 200 dollars. now this isn't ur normal supercharger, it came off of a 93 pontiac bonneville with supposedly the same engine...my question is, is there ne way to make it work for my engine? NEED TO KNOW FAST, any help is much appreciated!!
That blower sits on top of the intake. There is a pulley on one end, and the throttle body opening on the other end. The pulley end is going to be at the front of the engine. So the tb end will be within a couple of inches of the firewall.
Only if you can rig a quick 180 degree turn coming off the tb end of the blower, and figure out a way to mount the tb somewhere further upstream. (and deal with stabilizing it and connecting the throttle cable to it)

My engine is still running strong. 85,000 miles. '98 3.8 automatic.
A year with various nitrous shots ranging up to 150hp shot.
Ran a 13.2 at 103.5 mph.
And now a couple of months running a Powerdyne supercharger putting out 10psi.
Ran a 14.1 at 100 mph.
It runs 15.4 na.
