Strut Tower Brace???s

I was origianally looking at the hotchkis strut tower brace but now i am looking at the bmr brace. Which one should i go with?? I have heard really good things about bmr but i have not heard bad things about hotchkis and i am putting hotchkis springs with bilsteins on in a couple of weeks. My camaro is Navy Blue Metallic. If i go with the bmr should i get red like i'd planned with the hotchkis or a matching nbm??

I've got the BMR on mine. I think the red really sets off the looks of the engine. My car is Navy Blue also.

I just bought my first camaro last month and am very new to this where can I get a BMR and approx. how much would it cost? This was so much easier when I had my cobra because parts were so easy to find and now I am re-learning everything. Can you guys give me some good parts sites???? Thanx!!

I was tempted to get one at one time, with all you out there with them, is there a noticeable handling difference with it on?

Yup!!! No longer handles like a "jelly donut" around the corners. Well, not as much anyways......

im lazy , are they 2 or 3 point braces. i would never put a 2 point brace on my car when there are 3 point bars out there. triangulation of the 2 strut towers and the firewall will help a lot more than just the 2 strut towers.

Yep,and they also tend to crack the windshield. The windshield cowl on these cars isn't the best place in the world to be putting stress. The 2 points will be more than enough for daily driving. Also go directly to the source at www.bmrfabrication.com for the strut tower braces.Good luck.

before you upgrade your suspension figure out what you want to do with your car later on(as far as suspension is concerned). then you can get each part to work with each other instead of throwing on a bunch of different parts without taking full advantage.....but BMR works well with others IMHO.

aca performance had a gp going if I rememeber right.....

I have a red one comming in the mail. If you do red make all the changes you do red, such as the rear decals. I think it would look fruity having a bunch of different colored things on your car.

I went with the BMR because it was almost half as much and I don't see what makes the $200+ piece of metal so much better then the $100+
