It'll run about a 16.9 and up. nothing special but it'll hold its own against V6's of around that year.

That's all? My 96 Cutlass with a 3100 ran a 16.1@86.

It's really not worth modding if you ask me, I'll probably run real high 15's or low 16's with all I've done....pitiful.

Does it matter? seriously I am not trying to pick on you but guys have to get it through their heads that our cars are economy cars. I have a 3.8L M5 and I don't think I would waste my gas at the track either just to run mid 15s, especially when there are SUVs and minivans out there that could give us a run for our money. The return on investment on mods is also not worth it IMO. Enjoy the car for what it is.

The V6 4th gens are simply sports/touring cars, not muscle cars intended for drag racing. They're fun cars (I love my '96 3.8... best daily driver I've had), but I wouldn't buy one with the intention of racing it.

The FWD 3100/3400 have better flowing aluminum heads, so they put out a bit more power.

I would expect mid to high 16's for a stock A4 3.4 in good running condition.

At least they look good. Mid to high 16's isn't terrible. To me anthing better than a 17.2 is decent.
