When I go to start my car in the morning or after it has had the chance to cool off. It idles around 700-1200 rpms (not constant). Then once I put it into gear, it seems to jolt forward and the rpms still are not constant. Once I drive 75 yards or so, the car drives normally with a smooth idle. Anyone have an idea on what my problem is?

 

What year of your car? Something affecting it's running condition in open loop mode. Temp sensor, MAF. Ironically, I am replying to the second thread with same recommendation: try unplugging MAF and see how it starts cold after that.
