SS Sway Bars

There is a totalled 1999 SS Camaro in a junk yard close to me. Would the front and rear sway bars off of that car do me any good? I have heard of guys with V6 cars taking the sway bars off a Z28 and putting them on the V6. Should I do the same? What does it help with?

Currently your stock sway bars are 30mm front and 19mm rear. I'm not sure if all SS's came with the stage 1 suspension from SLP, which consists of a 32mm front (all Z28's and SS's came with 21mm rear bars). So find out if the car has the SLP suspension, I'm pretty sure thay all do, and yank those suckers off. They will reduce your car's body roll and they will work great with the lowering springs you already have. If the car still has the shocks on it, I'd grab those too.

Ya, all SS have the SLP suspension. The handling difference between my V6 Camaro and SS is huge. Sounds like a really good idea.
