Well I was having some problems with my car (95 3.4L M5) I had an alterner die, causing a low voltage throu the computer, basically it was doing wierd things from there, running really rich fuel, causing plugs to plug up after only 30 miles !

So I got a new computer from anouther 95 3.4L changed out the M5 chip, and now the speedo doesn't work. Also the trip meter turns so slow, basically in 10 miles it just hit the 2 tenths of a mile!

The odometer doesn't move at all! Sounds like the pulses that send about the distance arn't working?!?1

Any ideas?

 

I would check the fuse first. If it's not the fuse take it into a shop and see if the cluster is what needs to be replaced. Hopefully it is a fuse.

 

well i put the old computer in, everything starting working again, but it still did that wierd fuel problem, and killed a set of plugs :-(

Any one have an ideas other then anouther ECM?
