i wasnt knocking anyones car but merely saying being a die hard camaro lover would take owning a 6 like i did before so im not knocking no body but lets be honest kids the 6 is a whole diffrent would of hp ok .. and i got hit at a red light by a chick driving a civic so dnt knock my driving either aight!! iv worked my way from a 6 to a z to a ss and im proud and mommy didnt buy my ss sorry kids but she did buy my 6 and my z lol , and for me the *** who talked about the value of my car i bought it for 13,000 with 60,0000 miles and the only one i could fine with the options i wanted 13,000 for 330hp not bad ok for a mint car! especially when it retailed at 31,000 so everyone stop being so buthurt and lauph a little i respect everyone on here for not being a typical import ******* and staying true to you colors !! aight so im sorry if i offended some!!

That was a pretty sorry apology (no pun inteneded) considering you just restated your point, however irrelevant it may be. Those 3800 6's will run like ***** for a 6 cylinder. They can stand up to older 5.0s pretty easily, and they'll throw you back in your seat pretty hard given the lack of those 2 cylinders. Perhaps some people aren't fortunate enough to start off with a V-8? I started off with a v6, $2,750, paid for it in cash by myself. The only reason I now own a z28 is because I bought it totaled for $1,500 and fixed it for $53 in suspension, and pulled a fender and the front cap from my v6, then sold my v-6 for $1,700. I got extremely lucky, and that's the only reason I now have a Z28. Apology or not, shut your mouth and get some respect for others.

 

This is my first car, parents wouldn't get me an ls1, ls1 swaps are to hard for these cars, so I am modding the 6, I plan to get a v8 fbody in college but still keep the 6 and race it, because it owns.

you should have just kept your mouth shut. that apology was horrible and i don't even own a 6. but, i respect them just as much as i respect the z or ss that would pull up next to me. to all the six cylinder camaro's out there, rock on and i hope to see some of you guys at the track.

I don't know if it is necessarily hard, it may be tricky getting all the parts together I guess. Check out the hybird forum on LS1tech.com, there are plenty of these conversions being done by members there and a whole wealth of info. on how to do it.
