98mph doesn't mean 13's, LT1's run 98-99mph 14's all day

 

yet others run 98-99 mph and run 13.8s

its all on hte launch

 

Like I said before, traction or hooking is the key. With traction, it's a 13 second car. A car (especially a V8) can easily lose 1/2 second or more spinning at the line.

 

Man I will tell all on here, no matter what Tiago's Turbo rocks!
Man props out to him, he took a 160 h.p. 60 degee V-6 with hardly any aftermarket parts available and turned it into a very respectable street racer! That thing rocks, and with out bolt ons he fabricated a intercooled Turbo system with his own two hands right in front of our eyes on here!! props man, I have a lot of respect for him, especially when I see rich kids whos moms buy them a V-TEC Honda, or Integra and they pay people to bolt on parts, then they just stick the stickers on themselves and tell everyone look what I built! Well I dont respect them, they cant do anything but talk Tiago has put his money where his mouth is!

I plan to follow his tips, and maybe I can turbo mine too! (If I dont change my mind and swap a Northstar in there!)

Hey kingslam, not to bash you or anything but I can't even tell you how negative that post came out. I know tons of people who have integras and vtecs civics/del sols, and there moms haven't bought them ****. AND they haven't put the parts in themselves, but that doesn't mean it isn't their damn car! Many people don't have the extensive car knowledge you may have, and by your post, I doubt you have a lot, although I may be wrong.

You wanna talk about a lack of respect, I have almost NONE for you because of what you just said. You bash people because they want professional work to be done and they don't want to **** up, SO WHAT? You gunna tell me I can't do anything but talk just because I want a SHOP to drop in an LT1 and my MOM IS going to pay for half of it? Then you wanna tell me I can't call it MY CAR because I didn't do the work? Go think what the hell you just said over dude, because you just dissed a ****load of people, and it ain't cool.

*Sorry if I offended anyone, even you kingslam, but you can't talk **** whenever it isn't due. Learn some respect, because it seems like you have none to me.

Chill out, I have built tons of Sport Compacts myself, and have lots of friends with them. You did not read my post correctly, I was talking about the Sport Compact people who have all bolts on, they did not bolt them on even, and talk the talk but cant walk the walk ie they talk all day long about the Killa Import they built that can beat any F=body. There are so many of these people out there talking trash that its a breath of fresh air to see someone build something with their own 2 hands, like Tiago's turbo.
