Question Is a shift kit worth it?

I was thinking of maybe getting a shift kit since they aren't too expensive, but will I really notice too much of a difference? Will it help me get up to speed faster, or should I use my money on something else? Thanks.

Thumbs up

Splitfire if you have money to burn, like me I'd say do it.There is a noticable diference when Transgo kit HD2 Compitition/Off road is installed in L60E trannys.Of coarse I have a 98 3.8.
Also,Yes the kit is cheap I think I paid $91.There is shop fees, about 2.5hrs.@$60.The rear crossmember and driveline need to be lowered,to get to the servo so you get the best outa the kit.Got the kit mail, opened it and said "I dont think so"I'm gettin a pro.Dont forget fluids extra, and if you do have them get you a hard gasket for the pan.
I guess I'm sayin if you got money to burn do it.
