Ses

does anybodys SES light come on when u turn the key to the on postion or anytime at all ( other than when somethinng is wrong with it). I was just wonderign because i have never seen mine, so i was wondering, Not that I want it to start flashing at me, just curious.

Don't worry...I'm sure you'll get familiar soon enough with our #1 enemy.

If I wasn't at work I'd run to my car and check but I'm sure when the key is just in the ON or ACC position, the SES light should come on or at least light up momentarily.

see, thats what i thought. It does on my pickup anyway. Thats why i ask. Kinda worried, id like to know it worked atleast incase i ever need it.

it should come on with the key on during "bulb test" of not you either ahve awiring problem or a burnt out bulb

is there a way of knowing witch with out taking the whole dash into?

most times it;s the bulb.. if you have a wiring diagram you can find the wire that is the SES ciurcut (usualy brown) at the computer and probe it when you trun the key on and see if it;s sending the signal but it;s not that bad to pull the dash and will most time be the bulb anyway
