this guy i work with has a scooter that has a top speed of 60 mph and he claims that it will take me from stoplight to stoplight. I told him i would race him and that i would win. Am I geting into a race that i am going to lose?? If i lose i will probably have to quit my job because i won't be able to handle the abuse that will surely follow. I know it ways a whole LOT less than my car, but come on, its a freakin scooter. I think he said it was a four stroke as well if that helps

hahaha its funny that you said that a scooter wants to race you. I had my t-tops off today and a guy on a moped pulls up next to me and asks me if I wanted to race him. Of course I didnt take him seriously (I think he was a little drunk too). He said now I wanna hear some tires squealing. By this time I was nearly rolling in the car I was laughing so hard. I half way floored it and he just cruised on off.

That one was running nitrous but there are models out there that will whoop that Gopeds *** all motor/engine whatever the hell you wanna call it lol.

BTW... where are some of the major cruise spots in Roanoke? I go up there on occasion w/ friends to the Civic Center or Valley View etc etc but never really went up there to hang around and check out the rides. I heard Fast Freddy's over in Salem was a hot spot?

I live in Pulaski VA... about an hour south of Roanoke. I lived in Vinton from 1984 to '87. I was there when they had that big flood in '85 Its been a lil over a year since I've last been up there. I worked for ACS Home Entertainment there on Orange Ave beside of Hardee's last summer.

 

I talked to a kid who has one I forgot what he said it was either 5 or 10 shot.
