I have a fiero the battery has been moved to the front so there is all that empty space over there. Just wondering if there was any issue mounting the filter that high up in comparison to the oil inlet/outlet on the engine, etc. the filter would be about 12" higher than the adapter.

The filter would be mounted straight vertical so it would be easy to fill during oil changes,etc, plus its easy to access. Yes it's a 3800SC out of a 2003 Bonneville
