polished heads

i ahve a 89 rs 2.8 v6...if i port and ploish the heads, would it make a good difference?

if you have an exaust and free flowing intake you will prob notice about a 20 hp difference maybe slighty more

also dont forget the 3 angle valve job

you will see a big difference if you have someone that no's how too port do it. people that do it for a living (like myself) no how much and where too take material out. good luck!!

Porting and polishing your heads will actually slow down the air velocity into the combustion chambers due to the increased volume. While the air will flow smoother due to the polished runners, it does not flow as fast. You should seriously think about putting a cam in, even a mild one, if you P&P yours heads. You will gain a very good amount of power with the combo and it's easier to get it all done in on sitting rather than two seperate jobs.
