I was wondering what color you all think I should paint my calipers? Blue, Yellow, Red, Silver, or White? I am planning on doing it this weekend and was contemplating what color to get. Can you tell me some good sites that has info about painting calipers and where I can purchase the paint? Here is my Camaro if some of you have not seen it. Just check it out and tell me what color I should paint my calipers.

I am thinking about painting the calipers on my SS this weekend too. I am going to go with red I think. You want to pick a color that stands out from your car. Since your car is black that is just about any color.. other than black.

where did u get ur hood?? how much for everything??

 

I tried white once. didn't clear coat it and after a week the brake dust was embedded into the paint making it dingy. That could have been from not clearcoating or using caliper paint?!? So? Most go with red.

 

I got the hood from fiberglass fibricators. I don't know if they still have the site up or not. Everything you mean as in the hood and shipping or to fix my car for the conversion?

The majority of people that I know say that I should do it red. I dont know if I should wait after I get some new rims or just do it right now. If I do it soon I will post pics up of what it will look like.

 

i think either red or silver would be sweet.
