Ok. Going to replace exhaust piping.

I have a flowmaster muffler and the in/out is 2.5. the guy @ the muffler shop said he could order a 2.75 I-pipe for $130 and I could get two 3 inch tailpipes welded on for $60. Should I get it?

With the pipes specified above your most likely gonna get a lot of poping when you get off the gas. I personally llike it, others says it sounds like crap. But i would do it

He said he can "swell" the in/out's on the muffler to make the pipes fit inside the muffler. Therefore, no rescriction!

I'm going to go get the pipes replaced in about 3 hrs. Anyone know where I can find 2 quad tips with a 3" inlet and dual 2.5" outlets?
