No power Loud whistle 3.4 Gurus please inquire within

i was leaving work one day and my car felt a bit off..You just know when your car doesnt feel right well mine did.. I have a hard time getting any power even when i have it floored.. All i hear is a loud whislte sound thats not my intake.. i changed plugs today for some reason i though it was that.. but i saw a auto zone guy and he said it might be a clogged air filter or a vaccum leak in the car.. so im very confused.. i had a hard time winding out and picking up speed.. but no vibrations just a loss of power and a loud *** whislte sound... please help a man who misses his torque

hows your idle??

it sounds like you have a severe intake leak or vacume leak

well then its prob an intake leak not an open vacume line

will it do it in neutral too?

if it does try to pinpoint the whistle from under the hood

have a can of starting fluid with you and when you think you found the whistle spray it while its whistling and if it stops theres your leak

use caution with the starting fluid..dont ahve your engine to hot and dont spray the exaust manifold unless you want a fire
