No Injector pulse, help!

My dads buick with a 3.3 has no injector pulse, I checked with a noid light. It will run if you spray starting fluid in. It has a new fuel pump, new ecm, and new ignition module. It has 40psi at the fuel rail. Could it be the fuel pressure regulator? Its a 92 skylark.

Re: No Injector pulse, help!

it also coltroles injector pules. The cam and crank sensors send a signal to the pcm. It lets the computer precisely know exactly where the egnein is, and what I mean by that it lets the computer know where each piston is in relation to its 4 stroke cycle, and it also lets the computer know where cam shaft is. So it can precisely know when to open each injector and allow the most accurate advance for spark timing.
