Unhappy New Mustang Saleen

So I'm sitting in my driveway, polishing my camaro, when my neighbor pulls up in his new Saleen. I go over and check it out and to my suprise, on the window sticker, it says this guy is putting out 365 (not a typo) horses. Now I think Chevy needs to come out with a new Camaro to top these numbers, because, Damn thats a lot of horses. Still like my Camaro better though!

From 390hp, Around 312 to 331rwhp,15 to 20% loss"I've heard" is a good rule of thumb. 3.8 200@crank ,160@wheels, hmm 20%

Awww Max, why'd you have to go and say that? They are still RUSTANGS!!! Yes, they have 365HP-->390HP, but you still gotta live with the fact that you drive a Mustang. I'd rather be a Camaro wannabe than to drive a Mustang.

I posted a thread a while back in the Lounge that told of a 400 RHWP Mustang...it was a 4-cyl SVO. My buddy is into the SVO's, and they are extremely fast cars, one of the only Ford products I have some respect for...

But we all know, that if a Mustang gets to thinking he's too big and bad, the Camaro's big brother Corvette ( ) can put any of them in place any day of the week. Yes it would be nice if GM would factory build something that would stand up to these numbers, but that's what aftermarket products are for...if GM can produce less power in the Camaro than Ford in the Mustang, then aftermarket companies reap the benifits...it's a viscous cycle.

There are plenty of F-Bod's that are putting out better numbers than that right now, and that are running better than the new Cobra even , but I see your point, our loving comrades at Chevrolet are too busy letting the Aztec guy design a Corvette for them to build an awesome 2005 Camaro, looks like we just gotta spank 'em with what we got!

CHEVROLET CAMARO'S (or any Chevrolet/GM product) WILL ALWAYS BE BETTER THAN MUSTANGS!
