Lightbulb Need link to build homemade CAI

Its been quite a while since I've posted in the v6 Tech forum, but I'm kinda in the mood to do something for my car beside just washing it every week.

I realize a ton of people have posted about this and I've searched for it and everyone says they have built one but no one has clear instructions on how to build it. So does anyone have a link with pics and clear instructions on how to build one?

Also how much does it cost to build and are the hp gains worth it with our v6's?

I think Brents website has an article over that, not positive though. I'm curious as well, will an home made CAI do just aswell as an aftermarket brand or should we screw the trouble and just get an aftermarket brand?...

I felt a big difference, honestly... and noticed the big difference whenever I put the stock system back on...

I'll even throw in the filter... its kinda old I think the filter is like 4 years old.

ITs been a painted blue and is very dirty but you can do whatever with it...

Its 3 in. from TB to filter, and fits through the bad spot between the ABS unit and radiator.
$30 shipped...

or you can try to build your own I don't reccomend dryer tubing, had lots of problems of it breaking.

I'm buying Eric's CAI off him

I've been looking up other free mods or easy cheap mods I can do for my car and I figure once it gets above freezing here again I'll do the Throttlebody Bypass mod.
