I can't figure out if that is part of the crank or that is the pilot. It gouges pretty easily; and when you hit it with sand paper it gets brownish. It also feels like bronze rather than steel.

If that is the pilot, I don't see an overlap area where you can do the old grease and rod trick to pop it out. There is also no overalp you could grab with pullers. Anyone have a clue on this?

the pilot bushing is like a bronze color Should thats it dead center in the middle of the crank.

I have no clue how that grease trick would work, mine took some abuse to get it out. I bought a slide hammer and it came out. I think thats the best way to do it. I got it for $15 at harbour frieght.

A few people have seen this pic and told me the pilot is missing, so I was wrong the pilot is not even there. I thought that raised section was the pilot. The rear main is new I chnaged it out already. I accidentally hit this area with some paint overspray so it looks like crap.

I need to build a custom pilot bushing off these specs. Might go buy one of those fancy micrometers.
