Interesting day at the track today.........

was woken up by a phone call from my friend with a turbo Z28 he talked me into going to the track. But we were late so I didn't have time to prep the car, just hopped in and went, on street tires, kumhos, full weight and pump gas, 93 oct. I was running 10 psi of boost

first pass:
horrible launch, went wot and it detonated all teh way down the track, I shifted at abuot 4500 rpms to try and spare it. 14.9 @ 96 mph

second pass:
normal launch (for me ~2.4 60ft lol) shifted at 5k but was at 80% throttle to minimize detonation and knock retard (yes it pulls harder at part throttle cause of the timing) and ran a...............

13.5 @ 107 mph

I backed it up with a 13.6 @ 105 and a 13.9 @ 103

I was so f'n happy, hell I still am, finally some good times!

Can't wait to get out there with the new fuel pump, race gas, slicks and even more boost!!!!!

Good job! I knew all along you had a 13 second car. You should see low 13s, high 12s with slicks!

I'd bet when you run 12 psi and manage to pull a 1.8 or so 60' you could run a 12.5 or maybe even better.

Eric I dont have a timeslip they were not handing them out that day, we just had some friends watching our runs to look at the clocks, and afterwards we went up to the tower to double check and see 60fts.
