intake porting

intake porting

hey guys im porting my 3.4l upper and lower intake manifolds there starting to look pretty good going to post some pictures of them idk if anyone really cares but oh well new pics up tom thanxs guys

Sounds interesting. If you're doing them yourself, what are you using to port them ? A Dremel ?

I didn't realise there where upper and lower intake manifolds, you don't mean the exhaust manifold do you ? Forgive me if I'm asking a stupid question.

It would be good to see pics and to hear from you whether there is much of a performance increase. I have the same engine in my Firebird.

no there is the part that says 3.4l thats the upper then you unbolt it and you see the thats lower intake and im also buying a cam to get full benefits of it and yes i am using a dremel do you have email i can send pics by either tomorrow or monday

what does it take

what do you have to do to port you intake? does it take a rocket scientist or just a steady hand? If you could send me the pictures that would be great because i wouldnt mind doing it myself.
