Question Import mufflers on v6 camaro?

I was wondering if anyone ever thought of putting the import mufflers on a v6 Camaro/Firebird, of course not v8. Right now I have a Flowmaster 80 series on my 3.4L 1994 Camaro without a catalytic converter, (straight pipe) with no resonator. Actually I owned a Honda Accord with the whole rice exhaust setup and I sorta liked the sound it had, especially when driving fast. When I floor my Camaro, it sounds bad. In fact, it sounded just as bad when floored with the catalytic converter and resonator on.
I guess I just really like the import sound. If anyone has done it, or have any opinions, please reply ASAP. The Flowmasters, Borlas, and others sound great on v8 applications, but on 6's I think an import muffler would better compliment the higher tone on the 3.4L Camaros. Just give me your opinions and let me know if it's possible or not. Thanks y'all.

Dude...no. For the love of God don't...

That would be #2 on my liste right behind the local Camaro that looks like a Supra front, NSX type side flares in the back and some god awful tail-lights.

Just trade in your Camaro and get a import...

Re: no

It would be bad.
Imports and domestics would laugh at you then.
I had my 2.8l and cut the exhaust off at the y pipe and it still didnt sound as bad as a honda with a stock exhaust.

as for a 3.4L run no muffler, sounds great, I always ot compliments... just don't rev it to high

Now the 3.8L I hae seen/heard one guy with dual fart cannons like the newere accords, its ousnded different. Not the worst exahsut tone I have heard from a 3.8L but definitely not the best.

I am curious as to why anyone would have thought of this in the first place. Does he need a doctor or something? With any luck, we won't see this in Fast and Furious 3.
