so mixed the cleaner with 50/50 water and sprayed it into the intake

car ran fine

then put the straight cleaner into the vacume hose going to the back of the intake. the car stalls and i wait a half hour

so i come back and the car runs like hell. so i figure 1/2 the splugs are fouled. i change thme and they were all fine. car still runs like hell. it shakes its loud its smoking from the passnger side valve cover area

what the hell is wrong?

 

u did change the plugs??? or jus check them?

Did you put the break booster vacuum line back on?
I wouldn't put that stuff in my car ever, if I wanted to clean it out I would spary a can of carb/tb cleaner in there.

 

yup the line is back on

 

all you can do is keep running it and see if it clears up. Sounds to me like you dumped too much and could have hydrolocked a cylender and possibly bent some pushrods/valves. it's not reall ment to be dumped in, it's ment to be atomized using a special kit that we use at shops.

 

yes i was thinking that... if you dump it in u dump really slow so it atomizes with the incoming air

 

how could it screw my injectors?

i took out the 02 sensor to see if it was that, or if the cat was clogged and it ran the same.

 

so i took the new plugs out and looks like only 3 of them were firing as they were clean and wet 1,2 and 5. all the other 3 were slightly blackened.

so with the plugs and wires out of the way i turned the motor over to see if i cant dry out anything left in the cylinders. it turns over really smooth with only a whirr and a tick from the spark. im going to leave the plugs out for a fw hours.

 

put the plugs back in and still runs like hell

 

im almost convinced its hydralocked

if i take off the valve covers can i tell if the valves arent moving when i start the car?

 

run a compression test and see what you have

 

are u sure u didnt crack anything when you sprayed the water in?

 

i used hot water mixed with the seafoam so i dont thnik anything cracked
ill do a compression test when the stores open again

 

where are u at in ontario?

also there is still a chance u got a crack how hot was the engine?
