If this is the first time you have taken it off or it has been removed then you need to use a little muscle. The gaskets are well worn on there.
For the fuel rail releive the pressure first, take off the two screws on top, then you'll need to possibly give it a little prying with a long screw driver under the main rail. Your o-rings are probably hard as a rock by now keeping it tight.
Upper Intake plenum:
remove TB and accelerator cables etc..
remove all the wiring harness etc, move aside
on the left (passenger side) remove wire and module from the side of the plenum
Remove bolts
lift plenum

But make sure all the bolts are out first!
