I can't get the intake manifold off

I can't get the intake manifold off

I unbolted all the bolts (3.4 camaro) but it still won't come off,also the fuel rail won't come off, what am i doing wrong? That piece of **** haynes manual is worthless it does not give compleat detail, i should have bought a chiltons can someone help please?

If this is the first time you have taken it off or it has been removed then you need to use a little muscle. The gaskets are well worn on there.

For the fuel rail releive the pressure first, take off the two screws on top, then you'll need to possibly give it a little prying with a long screw driver under the main rail. Your o-rings are probably hard as a rock by now keeping it tight.

Upper Intake plenum:
remove TB and accelerator cables etc..

remove all the wiring harness etc, move aside

on the left (passenger side) remove wire and module from the side of the plenum

Remove bolts

lift plenum
