How reliable are the 3.4 v6? Are these good engines? Any common problems with the 3.4?

Mine's 195,000 and all I've really done is a water pump. Runs better now then when I bought it.

Alternator was the first thing replaced on mine too. Since Ive bought it though Ive had to replace the driveshaft (Managed to grab the last one in Ontario from a wrecker for only 300$) and a few things here and there. My A/C doesnt work though anyone wanna gimme theres? lol

Mine has 112,000 miles. Still runs pretty good for a 12 year old car. Took a beating from the previous owner (changed the oil and sand came out w/old oil), but doesn't burn any. Leaks coolant from somewhere and need new struts (pricey if you have a shop do it). Overall, I'd say the 3.4 is pretty stout and its reliability depends on how it was treated. My mileage averages 28-30 highway and about 22-25 city.
