Just like the title says. How much with engine work, but naturally aspirated?

Thanks

I would say 200 na would be pretty much the limit.

It really matters on the how you want the car to drive.

Cool

Tim LeGros's 1995 3.4 made 192 RWHP with just about all the bolt-ons you can buy without head/cam work.Imagine those numbers added into a head/cam package!

I went looking at your webpage last night Tiago. Looks different that the web page I use to have saved for your car. I do like it, one bad A$$ car. But I could not find a picture of the car finished with the turbo installed. Do you have one?

heh. Whatever.

tell that to me after i get my cam/headers.

<grins> ENGINE IS GOING IN THIS WEEKEND DAMMIT. im staying home on monday to make sure of that. afterwards, should have around 180-185 HP / 220-230 tq (thats with the stock crappy exhaust manifolds)

and stock heads. no porting/polishing. as soon as i get a few dynos ill post em up so everyone can see. keep checkin the boards :-p

just fyi - i think the 3.4 could be pushed to 300 n/a. in fact, there is someone doing it. Called Whitehorse. its not cheap tho. might wanna do a little poking around.

dboyw,You know I've been wondering myself(only about a 3.8 though)How much I could really get from just engine work(not bolt ons).I know supersix has heads ,cam, intake pac,get my RW to 200.
Theres more than that though balancing, piston upgrades(I read L67 will work),hell do some boring go oversize, bearigs, oil pump, timing, fuel system upgrade,Ignition etc, etc, w/ supersix pac maybe more agressive cam than they have.
300 does sound good all motor,I dont know
Just yesturday,I was cruising the lots looking for a cosmetically challenged 93-97 Z for cheap to make a road race car.
Anyway I go by this one,Nothing but I'm walkin out and this Circle track guy I know owns part of this place. His cars were in back we were looking at them. And I was tellin him how I've been training for my comp. lic in my 6.
Oh really,he says.I know someone who has a 600+hp all steel 3.8 chevy motor for sale. Do you wanna go see,we are going tomorrow.
I'm very sceptical,He doesnt know much, but well see.My buddy goes on to tell me that the guy who has it used to build for Big Daddy Don Garletts, and pictures to prove it.
But if "94 camaro"is right this motor prob. is for real. With a 300hp base totally beefed motor and say stage 2 nitrous,600 could happen,
I think I'll find if it does exist, that it wont be a chevy, but a buick L67. If its for real I've got to get it,just eliminate the nitrous keep waiting for intercooled SC system to be released for boost,You dont nitrous around a road race track or I'd be squirtin right now.
What do you guys think ?? I will let you all know what I find,I'm bringin my note pad,I'll write it all down We'll see.SOL

How come we are tlaking about 3.8Ls in this thread?

either way 1/4 mile to hp calculators say I am putting down abotu 175 rwhp, I am guessing 160? so abotu 180 hp out of the motor without headers, or internal work?
