I don't think the free ram air mod will work on your car.(got your pm) It works on 98-02s because of the way the air box is setup and where it's setup. Exhaust and intake are among the cheapest for the hp to money ratio. Looks like you already have exhaust so I would look into a intake next.
not to rain on your parade , but most cars on the road today will smoke you , family cars included
ever considered putting a 3.4L in it? the swap isnt too terribly hard

Not trying to be mean...its just reality. 240 HP sedans...
would be cheaper and easier to trade the car for a third gen v8. sorry but it would. just enjoy the gas milage, and be thankful its rear wheel drive.
other than that without serious handywork or big dollars the 2.8 wont be very fast.

okay about how much and what kind money really isn't a huge problem and what kind of good news will this bring my HP i would like to get at least up to 200hp by summer or just change my hole engine & trans which i really don't feel like it
the best upgrade for the 2.8 is a new 3.4 block.
not a while new engine, just the block.
everything else will pretty much bolt onto the 3.4
you could probably find a 3.4 compression tested at a junker really cheap
the trans will bolt up to it as well
there are a few people here who have done it and know much more about it than myself
even you could do the cam now or later and it will still work with the 3.4 i believe

you can also get posi for about 100$ from slp
before you start throwing money at it you should make a list of what you want from the car as track times go, and find how much horsepower that will require, and what it will take to do to the engine as far as parts and cost. see if its worth it to you as you may find it cheaper and easier to start with a v8 car.
