You can get maybe 15 hp from the headers.
10 Hp From the FIPK
And Maybe 5 from just the muffler.

So probably 30-35 horses easily.

15 total. 20 if you get a full catback.

yesterday, I watch Horsepower TV on TNN, they have this "Project Nightmare", a 96 or 97 Mustang GT. they dino it and it came to 177 hp, then they added a 75mm Throttle Body and a moroso CAI, they dino it and it went from 177 to 188, then they installed a flowmaster cat back, and it went to 204 hp for a total of 26 hp more.... don't quote me or nothing this is just what I recall.

You're comparing a V8 to a V6. I agree with the person that said 20hp.

I saw that show too. Just as a question, does anyone else think that a 75mm throttle-body is just a bit big for that engine?? I don't think it can use all that airflow without a cam or some other mods. My .02

Not to be an a$$..but the guy who started this thread has a 3.4, stock he's probably putting down about 130. But i still think you could manage a good 10 rwhp from a K&N. I had a 3.4, that thing was fun to drive.

Comparing a 3.8 to a 4.6...the 3.8 probably puts down in the 160-170 rwhp range? The V8 does have more displacement...but still a FIPK should wake up any car a bit.
