i have a 98 rs

 

Bought my wife's 98 Camaro in 2004 with 90k miles on it. Its a 3.8 auto. Got it for 4k in excellent shape.

I bought a 94 3.4 a4 awhile back for $1000. teal color. Gave it new plugs/wires, flushed coolant, new air filter, changed oil, new radio, put in both window motors. It had around 170k miles on it. Sold it for $1700

Brother had a 95 3.4 a4. Dont remember the buying price, but sold it for $1900 with around 170k miles. T-top, good condition. white

Brother now has a 2000 3.8 a4. 110k miles, t-top, excellent condition, white. Bought for $3200.

so how much did you pay?

 

i got my 94 3.4L in decent condition for $1200. the lady that had it befopre me "took care of it like it was her baby" lol lets just say she was a terrible mother haha Im going to fix her up and hopefully sell it for around 1900 or 2k. then get a 2000 - 2002 SS or Z.

 

well i pait 6500 back in 04

but im tring to sell it and i put it on craigslist for 4500 but i didnt get any calls...

just tring to get a feeler about how much the bad boy is worth...

 

Bought my 94 with 131,000 miles in 2001 for 6900.

 

i bought my 97 for $3200, excelent shape, 98k miles about a month ago.

 

i paid $2000 for my 95 back in 2005 it was in fair condition.

 

2001, great condition, 79,900 miles, $4,000 about 1 month ago

 

god, doesn't anyone buy new cars anymore??? Okay, I paid $16,000 in 2003 and the car had 2900 miles and is a 2000., I still have it today with 81,000 miles on it no major problems other than the PS pump leaked and I replaced it even though i didnt have to.

 

OMG! Thats hella expensive!!!

 

$5,000 for my almost perfect condition 1996 RS vert Y87, 59,000 miles fully loaded, back in 2005.

 

95 firebird, 3.4l, 5 speed was doing cleanup after katrina, and found it lodged in the front door of a restraunt on bourbon street in baton rouge. found the owners info, and he gave it to me to avoid any cost. after complete restoration i would say i have around 6-7 grand in mine. note that is a brand new motor transmission, and rearend. not counting labor. i have turned down offers exceeding 8,000.

no wonder the 4th gen firebird/ta shape is often referred to as a wedge or door stop haha.

 

i got mine about 3 months ago... its a 97. red, only problem was ac, 100,000 miles, 3200

 

hasn't anyone bought one of these cars new or close to new?
