1995. 208,000 miles. couple minor problems. but runs nice except for when the secruity light comes on it wont start. happens like twice a month. dumb thing.

1999 V6 with 25,560 miles. only problem was a clogged fuel injector. it's still running great.

Z28-replaced fuel pump, water pump, opti spark, and new hoses other than that runs like a champ!

RS-replaced fuel pump, fuel lines, fuel filter, so far so good.

That car is 14 years old. What happened was it just kept in a garage for the last 13 years?

 

I bought my 99" new. Over the years there were there were some summers where the car never left the garage. Over the years I have been in some difficult situations. I feel very fortunate to still have my "baby". This summer I put on about 250 miles. Even though it's a 3800 it is a fun car to drive. Even on the highway it drives very nice. I get looks from people and nice comments like "is that the original paint?" or "is that really a 99?" As a car enthusiast
like everyone on this site I really enjoy having a nice summer car to drive.Thank you for asking about my car.

 

95 3.4 V6 with 31,xxx miles right now. Other than a small oil leak by the rear main seal (started when I put synthetic in it) everything else is great so far.

 

As of today I have 307,900 miles. I hit 300,000 mile mark back in September. Its a 1996 3.8L Camaro Convertible. Still original engine.

I hope to hit 400,000 in about 3.5 years the way I drive. Does anyone know of a 400,000 mile Camaro?

203,000 on the engine. Tranny was rebuilt at 195,000. These cars may nickel and dime you at least once a month, but mine has never left me stranded. She always fires up with a quick turn of the key, just like a new car.

 

Mine just finally became not worth it to continue since my SMOG was due and I needed to put a lot of money in it, so I just started to part it out. Have an ad in the parts section.

Final mileage 330,490 miles

Changed the tranny at 225,000 due to the 5th gear syncro went out and it was cheaper to get a used tranny than repair the synchro. No real bad engine issues until now when I get a misfire and oil in the coolant. May be a head gasket or a burnt valve due to an exhaust leak, not sure until I get it apart.
