Re: Homemade cai???

well i have already completed it. it looks good. i used a spetre 4-3' reducer going to 2 45 degree angles with a 4' piece of 2.5' pvc. and then i put another 45 degree angle. and the i put a spectre filter on theend...i then took sign plastic( like the stuff used with for sale signs) and made it go around the area and lined it on bth sides with heat duck tape. and out foam on the top against th ehood. i have also put a thermometer in there and when im in tow the hottest ie seen it get is 70 when its around 70 outside, but on the highway it stays about 45-50 when it 70 outside. i have noticed a slight decrease in mpg and a gain in power. i also painted in flat black with engine enamel.
