Try summit...

Catco will run you approx. $50

I believe they have it on sale...

Can't tell you on gains, just don't aim too high.

Its much better then a stock clogged one... if yours is pretty old I woudl get one, Catco seems to be the chaepest, and differences between Catco and expensive ones are really not worth it.

You should notice better gas mileage and a little top end gain. As for sound, it depends on what the rest of your exhaust setup is.

As far as converters go and catback exhaust, and all that good stuff...what should I go with? Should I replace the stock "Y-Pipe" with an aftermarket with more air flow ability. Does this pipe include cats within it? Any links would be appreciated.

Do all Y-Pipes (are there other options, X / H pipes?) come with high performance cats build in?

Ace- I'm not sure about the cat coming with the Y-pipe. I think that it would be separate. Don't they usually sell the Y-pipe with headers?

I don't really know a lot about that aspect of exhaust.

But I've always wanted a cat also, just for the additional sound. I have about 120k on my clock...but i don't think there's anything wrong with mine. So I'm debating about changing it. Would I be able to put this cat in...or would I have to have someone change it for me (and yes I realize all the legal aspects of it).

But would the catco fit nicely in there without too much work?

Random Technology sells a high flow cat (a little pricey though), I see in the Jeg's catalog Magnaflow is selling a High flow cat. Summit's has Catco's. Research does wonders! Don't get a stiffy when this thing goes on, because your hp gain won't be very noticeable. I had a pro put the cat on for me (because of the legal and emissions b.s. - documentation stands up in court!)

Generally, y-pipes come with headers (not with a cat). Unless you're ordering oem (stock from the dealer - they can send you a y-pipe with a cat welded on -- but who wants stock? )

I'd put a set of headers on, go to bigger y-pipe, add a high flow cat and find a good cat back set-up! Open the exhaust up as much as you can.
