Thumbs up Hey Im New

Whats up everybody i am brand new to the forum. I just bought a '96 Green V6 Camaro and i absolutely love it, the gas mileage is great and theres an okay amount of power. Other than the fact that theres a governer at 120 its awesome.

Grats on the ride and welcome to the board. I remember the first time I hit the speed governer in my 95 Firebird. I thought I killed my engine Lol.

Re: Hey Im New

i got up to 120 in my 98 camaro and it wouldve kept on going... but i do have a rev limiter in park that limits @ 4000.

I also pinched an intake gasket and had a antifreeze leak that cost 500$ to fix.

At least i beat the riced out honda civic that i was racing, thats all that matters right?

(i got up to 120, and he was about 15 cars behind me ^.^)

Racing costs $$.

What in the world does your Rev limiter in park have to do with going 120?

These cars are limited at 118 from the factory.
