Question Help the Newbie!

Okay, I am new to Camaro's (I have previously owned imports), and I am planning to get a 1999 Camaro v6 with 50,XXX miles, the dealer is selling it for $7000. Is that a good amount for it or should I try to go lower. If so how much. Also, what kind of aftermarket items can I put on the car ( I know, intake, exhaust, etc. ) but are there currently superchargers or turbos in the market for a 99 base? Here comes a newbie question... What does SS mean, and how does that differ from the Z28? Thanks, I know this is a lot but I am new to the Camaro.

SS = Super Sport = Performance package by SLP
Differs from the Z28 by hood, spoiler, exhaust, wheels, suspension, etc...

Supercharger = www.ftforce.com; maybe rksport.com

Price is "OK" always see if you can go lower

SS = Something Special
Someone Smiling

The Z20 Ate all of the rice on its plate.

I would go with the 95 z28 if you want more power potential, but the 99 v6 would match or pass the lt1 with a supercharger. You could then escape the huge increase in insurance.
